B-MOLA BM1 Air Treatment Unit Control / Air Quality Monitor

The Multi-functional Air Quality Monitor supports monitoring PM2.5, CO2, TVOC, temperature and humidity. The concentration of PM2.5 is monitored by the digital PM’s concentration sensor following with the laser scattering technology, where the sensor continuously collects and measures the number of the suspended particulate matter with different sizes per unit volume, that is the distribution of the PM’s concentration; the concentration of CO2 is monitored following with the NDIR Technology; the concentration of TVOC is monitored following with the semiconductor technology.

First-time use:

First, place the Air Quality Monitor in an environment with good air quality (e.g. outdoors, balcony, window). Then, connect the monitor with power supply and operate it for 20 minutes.

During Using Process:

1. After turning on monitor, it needs 3 minutes to warm up before monitoring TVOC and CO2.
2. Place the monitor on a flat surface. User can refer the displayed air data after the data is steadily displayed.
3. Monitor several points at the monitored area and calculate the average of the monitored results, that is the averaged concentration of air data in the monitored area.

Recommended Operating Environment:

Suitable for the performance test of air purification by air purifiers, for different indoor and outdoor areas.

Battery Charging Indication:

If the battery icon is blank and slowly flashing, it indicates low battery status. In that case, the user shall connect the monitor to an external power supply to charge the battery. During the charging process, the battery icon will flash slowly. After the battery has been fully charged, the battery icon will be full and stop flashing.
